Arpita Nandy successfully defended her doctoral thesis titled “Novel role of the presequence peptidase Oct1 in mitochondrial translation” at the Faculty of Biology (University of Freiburg) on Oct 24, 2025. Arpita was a SFB 1381 – SGBM fellow, supervised by SFB 1381 PI Nora Vögtle in the project B04.
