Asifa Akhtar, vice speaker of our SFB 1381 and leader of project B03, has been elected as a Foreign Member of the Royal Society.
Founded in 1660, the Royal Society is the United Kingdom’s national academy of sciences and one of the world’s most prestigious scientific institutions. With her election, the Society recognizes Asifa Akhtar’s groundbreaking scientific work as well as her leadership skills. The formal admission ceremony is scheduled for July 2025.
