On April 29 2025, Robert Karari Njenga, who was supervised by SFB 1381 PI Hans-Georg Koch in the project B06, successfully defended his doctoral thesis “Ribosome-inactivation by a class of widely distributed C-tail anchored membrane proteins in E. coli ” at the Faculty of Biology (University of Freiburg).
