Valérie Hilgers, formerly a Max Planck Research Group Leader and one of our young research group leaders during our first funding period, currently leads project B02 within our SFB. As of July 2025, she has been appointed Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Basel, Switzerland. In addition, she now heads the RNA Biology and Neurogenetics Laboratory at the Department of Biomedicine in Basel.
