A study by SFB 1381 PI Hans-Georg Koch (B06), supported by SFB PIs Friedel Drepper and Pitter Huesgen (both Z01) showed that the ribosome becomes reversibly inactivated by a class of widely distributed C-tail anchored membrane proteins. Published in Structure.
